I try to drag and drop and never leaves me, when I think of my friends and I have no songs in iTunes on my iPod, but my sister takes care of my iTunes library and do not work ... . iPod is locked or not, or is the new version of iTunes, do not leave me?

You must enable the device to the first task.
You can with the iPod connected to iTunes and get your music from your iPod to store.
Or you can burn an audio CD backup make music, and then copied to your computer with friends and imports from there.
