How long did it take you to conceive after Mirena (IUD)? - when is it safe to conceive after taking avloclor

I've got my Mirena on 9 Removed in July, and I know that the information has been that pregnant, Mirena can be left out. But I've heard doctors say patients wait 2 cycles. If you have any experience? If it is not certain prego right away?

And I do not have a normal cycle since November, so how do you know if you are not ovulating? Does it take your period some time before again?
